Lief returned on Thursday from a business trip to Japan, and we were “turning Japanese” when we got some alone time. Lief brought back Japanese whiskey, Japanese white chocolate (my favorite), and – of course! – kimonos for each of us. The kid of a thousand noises, and his latest is the familiar falsetto – which sounds amazingly like PeeWee Herman! It’s not his only new thing. He also, with Alex’s encouragement, sticks out his tongue and shakes his head violently from side-to-side while uttering “”uuuuugh!” Now the girls are doing it, too.
