November 06 The Case of the Missing Lollipop -LisaAs any good parents would do, we are doling out the Halloween candy in small bits to the lil kids. Last night, they each got a lollipop. Two minutes in, and Cleo's goes missing. A light search of her immediate vicinity turns up nothing. Of course, we live in the toddler tornado, so there's plenty to dig into to make it a more thorough search: the toys littering the floor, the clean clothes that have been thrown off the couch onto the floor, the couch cushions tossed down to the floor .... see where I'm going with this? Meantime, Quinn is starting to cry. We ignored her and instead stepped up the search a notch (as we assumed the lollipop was now glued onto a garment). As Quinn's cries become more insistent, we finally take notice; and we find the lollipop .... in her hair! November 03 All-time Favorite Tucker Misconstrued Song Lyric -LisaIt's raining, it's pouring [sung in the church parking lot at full volume, no less!] November 01 Halloween Hijinks -LisaAnother happy Halloween has come and gone, and I thought I'd post some pics and highlights. ALEX - The "Pimp Daddy". This is his self-proclaimed last year of trick-or-treating, as he wants to move on to attending parties instead. He was trying to pull together hosting a party this year (although in the end it didn't come together), and the highlight here? His request to play spin the bottle at the party! TUCKER - We finally convinced him to wear the jacket. He really got the hang of trick-or-treating this year. And only ran inside the first house we stopped at. (as compared to EVERY house last year) Nothing compared to hearing his repertoire of: (1) "Trick-or-treat!", followed by (2) "Happy Halloween!", and finishing up with (3) "Thank you!" CLEO - Really getting into her lil devil costume! She was an adorable trick-or-treater. Halloween is all about the treats with her. In addition to the chocolate-face below, she snatched an extra cupcake at the Halloween party at Daddy's work! And she was in seventh heaven when someone gave her a 'gold' ring! QUINN - Obviously, she is no stranger to the red velvet cupcakes either! Oops, I didn't get a shot of this lil angel wearing her wings (she poked herself in the eye with them while mowing on the cupcake). But her halo is still intact, at least today..... I received many questions of "Are the lil devil and lil angel costumes indicative of their personalities?" And I say again, they are interchangeable! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! |
